Opening FAQs

When is the YMCA opening?

  • The Y will open May 24 to members only
  • 24 hour access will NOT be allowed
  • No Nationwide Access or Guest Passes will be available until further notice

What areas of the Y will open?
A complete list of activities, programs, and guidelines will be published the week of May 18. The list of allowed activities and programs will update weekly.

What has the Y done to protect members?

  • Hand sanitizing stations have been added to the facility
  • Cleaning protocols have been added for staff and members
  • Wellness Center equipment has been positioned for physical distancing
  • Group exercises classes will be limited to allow physical distancing
  • Group Exercise class registration information will be upcoming

What about my membership?

YMCA memberships on draft will be drafted again starting May 26. Memberships can be cancelled or put on hold at any time. The $20 HOLD fee is waived at this time.

What about Summer Camp?

What is the status of Ferdinand T-ball?

We are working to establish a new schedule for t-ball to resume later this summer.

The Y is committed to providing programs that build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all. No one will be denied access to YMCA programs or facilities due to an inability to pay.  Funds made available for financial assistance are provided through the generous giving of individuals and businesses to the YMCA's Annual Campaign.  IRS Form 990 Available For Inspection Upon Request.
