Spring Programs

 

Bitty Basketball at William Tell Elementary
A non-competitive youth program emphasizing the fundamentals of STRETCHING, RUNNING, SHOOTING, DRIBBLING, DEFENSE, and PASSING while building character through practicing honesty, caring, respect, responsibility, and faith. 

Ages: 3 to 6 year olds
             *3 and 4 year olds play on 5 foot goal
             *5 and 6 year olds play on a 7 foot goal 
Program Dates: March 11th - April 29th 
    **No program on Monday, March 18th - Spring Break
    **No program on Monday, March 25th - School not in session (Snow Make-up Day)
    **The week of April 22nd, we will play our games on Thursday the 25th instead of Monday the 22nd. 

Practice/Game Times: Monday evenings from 5:30 to 6:15, 6:15 to 7:00, or 7:00 to 7:45 p.m. (CT)
    **Practices will take place the first 3 session dates.  Games will be held the last 3 session dates.

Youth Volleyball Instructional Camp
A four-week instructional camp for girls emphasizing the fundamental of Passing, Setting, Defense, and Teamwork, while building character through the YMCA's Five Core Values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, Responsibility, and Faith.  

Ages: 1st - 4th Grade Girls
Program Dates:  March 5th - April 4th
     **Skipping March 26th and 28th due to Spring Break 
Times: Tuesday and Thursday Evenings
1st and 2nd Grade: 5:45 p.m. - 6:45 p.m. (ET)
3rd and 4th Grade: 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. (ET)

T-Ball (Dubois County)
A non-competitive youth program emphasizing the fundamentals of STRETCHING, RUNNING, THROWING, CATCHING, and HITTING while building character through practicing honesty, caring, respect, responsibility, and faith.

Ages:
3 to Kindergarten
Program Dates: April 9th - May 11th 
Practice Times:
Tuesday Evenings: 6:30-7:00 p.m. and 7:15-7:45 p.m. (ET)   
OR
Thursday Evenings: 6:30-7:00 p.m. and 7:15-7:45 p.m. (ET) 
Game Times: Saturday Mornings: 9:30, 10:30, and 11:30 a.m. (ET) 
Program Location:
Practices: 18th Street Park in Ferdinand 
Games: 5th Street Park in Ferdinand
Supplies: Children need to bring their own mitt.  All of the other equipment will be provided.

Healthy Kids' Day

Each April, the Tri-County YMCA holds Healthy Kids' Day.  It is a day dedicated to kids and families.  It is open to the public and free of charge.  Be sure to mark your calendar and bring your family out and have fun together while participating in activities that develop a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.

Program Date: April 27, 2019
Time: 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Program Location: Tri-County YMCA

We will have activities for the family so be sure to bring the family and enjoy some fun activities together!
