Summer Camps

Since our first summer camp in 2005, we have been providing
activities during the summer months for children in Ferdinand, Jasper, and Tell City.  YMCA Summer Camp provides children, in grades K-6th (based on the child's 2018-2019 fall school year grade) with a safe, fun and healthy environment within a structured full day program, from 6:30am to 6:00pm, to assist parents who must work to provide for their family.
The campers are divided into groups based on grade level and kids participate in activities that are geared towards their level.  In addition to partaking in group games and activities, the day includes a Character Development, reading time, fitness activity, and an academic lesson.

Summer 2019 Camp Details will be available in March with camper registration period beginning on April 1st.

Summer Day Camp Counselors: The Tri-County YMCA is seeking Camp Counselors who will provide direct supervision of a group of children in a seasonal day camp setting.  The Camp Counselors will provide a quality experience to children and parents focused on the YMCA Core Values: caring, honesty, respect, responsibility, and faith.  Candidates must be enthusiastic, responsible, enjoy working with children, and have a passion for the YMCA and its mission.  Over the summer, you will have the opportunity to positively impact the lives of the kids you work with and develop amazing friendships that will last a lifetime.  Applications will be accepted until Wednesday, March 6th.
