Summer Programs


Adult Soccer League

A 7-week soccer league for those 16 and older. The league will end with a single elimination tournament.

 16 and older
Program Dates: June 13 - August 8 (We will skip 4th of July weekend.)
Program Days:  Sunday Evenings 

Game Times: 4:30 to 5:35 p.m., 5:45 to 6:50 p.m. and 7 to 8:10 p.m. (Eastern time)
Cost: $20 per person
Program Location:
  5th Street Park in Ferdinand

Players/coaches will be selected and contacted for a meeting. There will be a player draft on June 7 to select teams. Each team will be given a color, and players will wear shirts in that color for games.

The league will consist of 6 teams of 11 players. Games will be played on a full field in a 9v9 format with two 30-minute rolling halves and a 5 minute halftime. Anyone under 18 must sign a waiver. Shin guards are optional.

T-Ball (Perry County)

A non-competitive youth program emphasizing the fundamentals of STRETCHING, RUNNING, THROWING, CATCHING, and HITTING while building character through practicing honesty, caring, respect, responsibility, and faith.

3 to Kindergarten
Program Dates: July 6th - August 10th 
Program Days:  Tuesday Evenings (Thursdays will be used in the case of a rain-out on a Tuesday)

Program Times: 5:00 - 5:45, 6:00 - 6:45, and 7:00 - 7:45 p.m. (Central Time) 
Structure: Practices will take place the first three sessions and games will be held the last three sessions
Program Location:  Dennis Kress Memorial Park
Cost: $30.00 for YMCA Members
         $50.00 for Non-Facility Members

Soccer Training Sessions

Are you looking to put in a little extra time to improve your game for the upcoming soccer season?  The Tri-County YMCA's soccer training is just the thing for you.  This program is designed to improve your skills with the ball on your feet as well as teaching new ways to think without the ball at your feet.  With both group and individual settings we can find exactly what you need to be working on and improve on it.   

Heimatfest Volleyball Tourney

Gather up your friends and get ready for sand, sun, and fun at the Co-Ed Adult Volleyball Tournament taking place during Ferdinand Heimatfest Celebration on Saturday.

 Program Date: Saturday of Heimatfest Weekend
 Start Time:  9:00 a.m. (ET)
 Cost: $60.00 per team 
 Game Play Format: 6 person with 2 females required per team
 Program Location: 18th Street Park Volleyball Courts

Each match includes two 21-point rally games and third 15-point rally game (if necessary) to determine the winner.

Registration begins at the end of May
