Summer Programs

 

Speed and Agility
This 7-week speed and agility program offers a wide range of drills and exercises to build your child's endurance, flexibility, speed, power, and agility.  We will run them through ladders, box jumps, free weights, and plyometrics to enhance their skills in their sport.  Here they can compete against others and themselves to be ready when it counts.  

Ages:
9th-12th Graders (based on the 2018-2019 school year)
Program Dates: June 19th - August 8th  
Program Days: Tuesdays and Thursdays
Program Times: 8:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. (ET)
Cost:  $75.00 for YMCA Members
          $100.00 for Program Participants
Program Location: Tri-County YMCA

T-Ball (Perry County)

A non-competitive youth program emphasizing the fundamentals of STRETCHING, RUNNING, THROWING, CATCHING, and HITTING while building character through practicing honesty, caring, respect, responsibility, and faith.

Ages:
3 to Kindergarten
Program Dates: July-August  
Program Days:  One Evening a Week

Program Times:  5:30 to 6:15 p.m. and 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. (Central Time)
Program Location:  Dennis Kress Park in Tell City

Registration begins in June


Heimatfest Volleyball Tourney

Gather up your friends and get ready for sand, sun, and fun at the Co-Ed Adult Volleyball Tournament taking place during Ferdinand Heimatfest Celebration on Saturday.

 Program Date: Saturday, June 2018
 Start Time:  10:00 a.m. (ET)
 Cost: $60.00 per team 
 Game Play Format: 6 person with 2 females required per team
 Program Location: 18th Street Park Volleyball Courts

Each match includes two 21-point rally games and third 15-point rally game (if necessary) to determine the winner.

The Y is committed to providing programs that build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all. No one will be denied access to YMCA programs or facilities due to an inability to pay.  Funds made available for financial assistance are provided through the generous giving of individuals and businesses to the YMCA's Annual Campaign.  IRS Form 990 Available For Inspection Upon Request.
