Winter Programs

 

Ringing in the New Year
Does your child have plans for New Year's Eve?  Are you looking for a place to care for your child for the evening? We have the answer for you....the YMCA!  We will be holding a New Year's Eve celebration for kids.  We will be providing food, games, crafts, and even doing our own ball drop.  

Ages: 5 to 12 year olds
Program Time: 
Drop-off between 6:00 and 6:30 p.m. (ET) on December 31st
Pick-up by 9:00 a.m. (ET) on January 1st
Cost:
YMCA Member:
$15.00--Leaving by 2:00 a.m. (ET)
$20.00--Staying Overnight

Program Participant:
$20.00--Leaving by 2:00 a.m. (ET)
$25.00--Staying Overnight

Activities:
Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. and breakfast at 8:00 a.m.
Kids will enjoy a winter craft, organized games, free time, movie, ball drop, slumber party, and more! 

**Be sure to bring a pillow, sleeping bag, and your pajamas if you plan on spending the night with us!!

We will need to have 15 children register in order to hold the event.

Bitty Basketball
A non-competitive youth program emphasizing the fundamentals of STRETCHING, RUNNING, SHOOTING, DRIBBLING, DEFENSE, and PASSING while building character through practicing honesty, caring, respect, responsibility, and faith. 

Ages: 3 to Kindergarten
(We team up the 3 & 4 year olds and have them play on a 5 foot goal and team up the 5 & 6 year olds and have them play on a 7 foot goal.)  
Program Dates: End of January - End of February
Practice Times:
Tuesday evenings from 6:30 to 7:00 p.m. & 7:15 to 7:45 p.m. (ET) OR
Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 7:00 p.m. & 7:15 to 7:45 p.m. (ET)
Game Times:
Saturday mornings at 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 12:30 p.m. (ET)
Program Location: Tri-County YMCA
