Future Hoopers

A co-ed instructional 6-week youth basketball program emphasizing the fundamentals of SHOOTING, DRIBBLING, PASSING, DEFENSE, AND REBOUNDING while building character through the YMCA’s 5 Core Values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, Responsibility, and Faith.

Ages:  Open to all current 1st-2nd Graders (Girls and Boys Division)
*Players will play on 8.5’ goals and use 28.5 size ball (Official Women’s size)
Dates: Thursday, December 2 - Saturday, January 15
Practice: Thursday evenings: 5:30 - 6:15 PM, 6:30 - 7:15 PM, and 7:30 - 8:15 PM (EST)
Games: Satu
rday Mornings: 8:30 - 9:30 AM, 9:30 - 10:30 AM, and 10:30 - 11:30 AM (EST)

Bitty Basketball

A non-competitive youth program emphasizing the fundamentals of STRETCHING, RUNNING, SHOOTING, DRIBBLING, DEFENSE, and PASSING while building character through practicing honesty, caring, respect, responsibility, and faith. 

Ages: 3 to 6 year olds
(We team up the 3 & 4 year olds and have them play on a 5 foot goal and team up the 5 & 6 year olds and have them play on a 7 foot goal.)  
Program Dates: January 27th - February 26th
Practice Times: Thursday evenings at 5:30 - 6:00 p.m., 6:15 - 6:45 p.m. & 7:00 - 7:30 p.m. (ET)
**Practice times will remain the same throughout the season and will not rotate each week
Game Times: Saturday mornings at 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. & 12:30 p.m. (ET)
**Game times rotate among the 4 game times throughout the season
Program Location: Tri-County YMCA
      $30.00 for YMCA Household Memberships
      $50.00 for Non-Facility Members
