Welcome to the Y

Tri-County YMCA

The Tri-County YMCA's vision is to inspire everyone with caring people and family-friendly programs and facilities.  We strengthen our members and communities through offering a variety of services, such as health and wellness programs, summer camps, family time, and childcare.  We’re more than just a place to work out.  At the Y, we help build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all with the core values of caring, honesty, respect, responsibility, and faith at the heart of everything we do.

With a commitment to nurturing youth development, promoting healthy living, and fostering a sense of social responsibility, the Y ensures that every individual has access to the essentials needed to learn, grow, and thrive.

Community CPR/AED and First Aid Training

Heartsaver CPR/AED is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches adult CPR and AED use, as well as how to relieve choking on an adult.  The course also includes teaching basic First Aid skills.  The training course used the Practice-While-Watching (PWW) technique, which allows the instructor to observe the students, provide feedback and guide the students' learning of skills.  The trainings are open to the public, but are limited to six individuals per session.  Pre-registration is required and must be completed one week prior to the course date.

Upcoming Course Dates and Times:
Saturday, August 16th: 10:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (CPR/AED/First Aid)
Monday, August 18th:  5:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. (CPR/AEd)
Tuesday, August 19th: 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. (First Aid)

The cost is $30.00 for YMCA Members and $40.00 for Program Participants.  All times listed are Eastern.  Please call the Y at 367-2323 with any questions or top in to get registered.
