Summer Day Camp Counselors
Are you looking for a job where you can make a difference in a child’s life? Are you a big kid at heart? Do you like to be active and creative during the summer months? The Tri-County YMCA is seeking Camp Counselors who will provide direct supervision of a group of children in a day camp setting at Ferdinand, Jasper, and Tell City. Candidates will need to display the ability to assist in the direction, planning, teaching, coordinating, and carrying out of activities and programs that are theme and developmentally appropriated while guiding campers in their own personal growth. Camp Counselors must be enthusiastic, responsible, enjoy working with children, and have a passion for the YMCA and its mission. Counselors must be 18 years or older. Summer Camp will run from the first day of summer vacation to the last day of summer vacation at each camp site. Applications will be accepted until Friday, March 17th. Group interviews will be held in April with training beginning in May.
