At the Y, sports and recreational activities are something special. Friendly competition, lots of variety, and a supportive environment means team sports and recreation are fun again. Gather up some friends and join in on the fun!
Adult Sport Programs
Are you looking for a reason to break out the old basketball shoes and to get out of the house for the evening? The YMCA is offering an adult basketball league for anyone 16 and older. This is a 6 week league with the last two weeks being a single elimination tournament.
Dates: March 3rd - April 8th
Ages: 16 and older
Game Times: Monday and Tuesday Evenings with games running from 6:00-7:00 p.m. and 7:10-8:10 p.m. (Eastern Time)
Location: Tri-County YMCA
Cost: $300 per team
The team fee pays for the league refs and league shirts
Information:
Each team can have up to 10 players on the roster but only 5 are needed to play.
Full court games will be played in 2-20 minute rolling halves with a 5 minute halftime.
League is limited to 8 teams so register early!
Registration deadline is February 22nd as long as spots are available.

Recreation Programs
Gather up your friends and get ready for sand, sun, and fun at the Co-Ed Volleyball Tournament taking place during the Ferdinand Heimatfest Celebration.
Date: Saturday of Heimatfest
Start Time: 9:00am EST
Location: 18th Street Park in Ferdinand
Cost: $60.00 per team
Registration Deadline: Thursday at noon
General Information:
- Format: 6 person format, 2 females required per team
- Each match includes two 21-point rally games. A third 15-point rally game will be played if necessary to determine the winner.
