YMCA Preschool Sports encourage and promote healthy kids, team-building as well as individual development, a positive self-image and a sense of fair play and mutual respect for others. Parents are encouraged to be more than mere spectators, by contributing their time as volunteer coaches—as well as being their kid’s greatest fan.

Bitty Basketball League Information

Our basketball program is designed for players of all abilities who want to have fun, develop their skills, and participate in friendly games. Players will learn the fundamentals of the sport and the importance of teamwork. Volunteer coaches provide support and encouragement and serve as positive role models for youth.

LEAGUE DETAILS

AGES: 3 year olds - 6 year olds
*3 and 4 year olds will play on a 5 foot goal
*5 and 6 year olds will play on a 7 foot goal

SEASON: February - March

DAYS: Monday or Tuesday evening

TIMES: 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. or 6:30-7:15 p.m. (CT)

PRACTICES/GAMES: Practices will take place the first 3 session dates. Games will be held the last 3 session dates.

LOCATION: Tell City Schergens Center

VOLUNTEER COACHES:
Volunteer Coaches are essential to this program. If you are interested in serving as a coach for your child's team, please complete the Coach's Information Section when filling out your child's regsitration. Thank you for your help!
