Water Fitness
Water exercise classes are for every body and every fitness level. The water environment allows easier movement, less stress on the joints, and the buoyancy for increased mobility. Strengthen your soul, your heart, and your mind with our inspiring instructors, effective exercises, and motivating music.
Therapy Room Access
Days and Times:
- Monday: 5:00am - 8:30pm
- Tuesday: 5:00am - 8:30pm
- Wednesday: 5:00am - 8:30pm
- Thursday: 5:00am - 8:30pm
- Friday: 5:00am - 6:30pm
- Saturday: 6:00am - 3:30pm
- Sunday: 12:00pm - 3:30pm
Doors to the Therapy Room/ Pool area will lock 30 minutes prior to the building closing time each day. All members must be in the Therapy Room before this time to avoid being locked out. Please note that the remainder of the facility will not be accessible the last 30 minutes of facility hours from the Therapy Area. Members should exit to the parking lot from the Therapy Room.
Therapy Pool Schedule
Get in shape, have fun, and build friendships while using the therapy pool. Work at your own ability level or join a group exercise class with the encouragement from friendly, welcoming certified instructors. Greater mobility, reduced pain and fatigue, increased muscle strength, and enhanced sleep quality are just a few of the benefits of a regular fitness workout in the pool.
Cryolounge & Hydromassage Chairs
The CryoLounge+ is an advanced recovery chair that offers targeted cold at 25-30 degrees Fahrenheit for soreness and aches and complemented by warmth at 95-115 degrees Fahrenheit in other areas for comfort. This balanced approach ensures a holistic and refreshing experience for an ideal post-workout recover.
Cold therapy feels great on sore and stiff muscles after a workout.
Heat in other areas offsets the cold and provides a more comfortable experience.
Compression feature available for sore legs.
Optional contrast feature switches the hot and cold treatment areas at the end of your session.
Sessions last 10 minutes once your card is scanned.
Please clean equipment before leaving.
**The chair can be accessed by YMCA Members 18 years and older. Members will pay a one-time fee of $25 to gain access and will be required to complete a demo of the chair before using it.
Sauna Guidelines
1) Limit Time Inside
- Recommended session length is 10-15 minutes at maxiumum heat.
2) Heat Settings
- Maintain sauna temperature between 174 - 194 degrees to achieve optimal cardiovascular benefits.
3) Use a Towel
- Always sit or lie on a towel to protect benches and maintain hygiene.
4) Wear Proper Attire
- Shoes are not allowed. Maintain modest coverage with a swimsutit or appropriate clothing.
5) Limit Water on Heating Elements
- Use no more than one ladle of water every 10 minutes to preserve equipment and ensure safety.
6) Be Respectful
- Keep voices low, avoid disruptive behavior, and maintain a calm, relaxing environment.
7) Age Restriction
- Sauna use is restricted to individuals 18 years and older.
8) No Outside Scents
- Essential oils and other smelling elements are not permitted.
